Orfordville

Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin, Orfordville was established in the mid-19th century, originally serving as a trading post for early settlers attracted by the area's rich natural resources. The town flourished with the arrival of the railroad in 1881, facilitating economic growth and bringing in new residents. As agriculture became the backbone of the local economy, a sense of community emerged, leading to the establishment of schools, churches, and shops that catered to the needs of its inhabitants. Over the decades, Orfordville maintained its small-town charm while adapting to the changing times, reflecting a shared history of resilience and community spirit that remains deeply rooted in its identity today.
