Despite the ongoing work, it's business as usual for local shops and attractions, ensuring visitors can still enjoy everything Orfordville has to offer. There is easy access on Main St, and Brodhead St, As you travel, take the opportunity to explore the charming summer sights.


Beginning in September

  • Curbside brush/yard-waste pick up will be the first Monday of every month. DPW will no longer be picking up every week.    

  • DPW will pick up this Monday, August 31st. 

  • The first Monday in September is Labor Day, so the DPW will pick up on Tuesday, September 8th.  

  • October will be the first Monday of the month which is October 5th.

  • The brush site hours are not changed.

FEMA Assistance Information for Rock County Residents

Rock County has shared the following FEMA assistance information for homeowners and renters affected by the severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding on April 17. The Village of Orfordville is sharing this information to help ensure residents are aware of the available resources. The Village is not administering the program or determining eligibility.

Applications must be submitted by August 31, 2026. Important: If a FEMA assessment team visited your property in May, you must still submit an application for assistance.

  • Annual household income

  • Insurance information

  • Banking information if requesting direct deposit
