A Very Merry Village of Orfordville Mystery

On a cold winter day in the Village of Orfordville, reports came in of something quite silly and curious:

Green footprints in snow, suspicious giggling too, and a missing sack of Christmas Cheer — what could it be?

Chief Burdick arrived with Officer Cheske nearby, they followed the trail with a watchful good eye.

Past lights and bright garland, past candy canes too—Till WHO should appear? Why… the Grinch! It was true!

He shuffled and huffed as he stood in the snow, but kindness and calm made the moment just glow.

The officers smiled and said, “Hold tight, my friend, in the Village of Orfordville, cheer will not end.” So off went the Grinch — no fear and no fright, just a friendly reminder to do what is right. No jail and no trouble, no scary surprise, just cocoa, cookies, and lessons grown wise.

And listen up, kids — here’s the best part to hear:

Christmas is safe and full of good cheer!
