In honor our friend and teammate, Ron Kobs.
For more than 10 years, Ron was an important part of the Burtness family. He wasn't just a dedicated member of our sales team—he was someone who genuinely cared about our customers, his coworkers, and our community.
Ron was the driving force behind many of the charitable events we supported, including our annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. His generosity, compassion, and willingness to help others left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
To honor Ron's legacy of giving back, we are proud to announce that the proceeds from this year's Drive Burtness Car Show 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Rock County Cancer Coalition in his name.
We hope you'll join us as we celebrate Ron's life by continuing the work that meant so much to him—supporting our community and helping those in need.
Thank you, Ron, for your friendship, your kindness, and the difference you made every day. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will continue to inspire us.

The recent weekend was truly memorable, as we celebrated the outstanding achievements of our WIAA state champions from Parkview School District. The dedication and hard work of these talented individuals have brought immense pride to our community. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who attended and supported the event, making it a success. Your presence and enthusiasm played a vital role in creating an unforgettable experience and honoring our champions. Let's continue to rally around our students and encourage their remarkable endeavors.

Join us on September 19th at the corner of Hwy 213 and Hwy 11, across from The Station at 4pm, for a special celebration as we unveil the new Parkview WIAA State Champions Sign! This commemorative sign honors all Parkview WIAA State Champions, beginning with Wes Egan, who became our first state champion in wrestling in 2025. Thanks to the vision of Parkview Wrestling Coach Al Stark and collaboration with local partners, the sign has been beautifully designed and installed. We invite all past champions and members of the Parkview and Orfordville community to gather, celebrate, and capture this momentous occasion with photographs. In addition, we wish to acknowledge the achievements of the WACPC State Cheerleading Stunt team, who claimed State Champions victory in 2003. The Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches (WACPC), endorsed by WIAA, continues to support and enhance cheer and dance programs across the state. For convenience, parking is available at Burtness Chevrolet, with shuttle services to the event site.
