Proud of our Parkview -Albany Wrestlers
Sat the January 24th the Parkview-Albany varsity boys traveled to Monroe for a 17 team invite and on Tuesday the 27th they traveled to Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh for a confrence quad.
At the monroe invite the team finished in 12th place with 6 scoring wrestlers. Tavin Bomkamp (150) placed 2nd. Peter Roth (175) placed 4th. Elijah Gunn (165) placed 6th. Rylan Aasen (215) placed 7th. Balin Lacy (157), Chase Meyer’s (157 non scoring) and Jagger Wilke (285) Dnp.
With a shot at capturing the trailways south dual confrence trophy outright was on the line dueling Horicon but we came up 6 points short losing 33-27. Getting wins were Balin Lacy (150), Tavin Bomkamp (157), Elijah Gunn (175), Rylan Aasen (215) and Jagger Wilke (285). Second round matched up against Markesan losing that one 22-60. Wins from Bomkamp (157), Gunn (165), Peter Roth (175) and Wilke (285). The final round was against the host team Lourdes Academy winning that on 42-6. Getting wins from Lacy (150), Bomkamp (157), Meyers (165), Gunn (175), Roth (190), Aasen (215) and Wilke (285).
The wrestlers will be back on the mat Monday Feb 2nd at home for the boys there will be Dodgeland, Lincoln Academy and Blackhawk-Shullsburg-Warren. For the girls teams will be Dodgeland, Lincoln Academy, Blackhawk-Shulllsburg, Brodhead-Juda, Evansville, and Beloit Memorial.
Wrestling will start at 6pm. For the boys a win against Dodgeland will give them a share of the conference title. Hope to see the gym packed to support the young men and women wrestlers!!

Ms. Reif's Photography and Videography students
Ms. Reif's Photography and Videography students have been working all semester on our in-house announcement program called Viking Vision. During the semester, students learned about the jobs that are essential to a video production both on and off the screen. Through their dedication and hard work, they were able to produce 50 episodes (3 episodes a week!) of Viking Vision this past semester. Great work Vikings!
