Parkview Family Grocery Giveaway

Brian Knutson posted the following on Facebook to inform the community:

There will be a grocery giveaway tomorrow, beginning at 3:00 PM, in the Legion parking

lot. This event is organized for Parkview families who could use some extra support with

groceries and milk. Each family attending will receive a half crate of chocolate milk and

a half crate of white milk, both provided in half-pint containers. Attendees are

encouraged to bring boxes or totes to help carry the milk home.

Supplies will be available for up to 40 families, offered on a first come, first served basis.

While the timing is last minute, the need within the community is clear, and the

organizers are determined to offer this help before Christmas. Although arrangements

are being made quickly, there is confidence that everything will come together

successfully. The organizers feel strongly about not letting any family in the district go

without food as the holidays approach.

Participation and Requirements

There is no application process and no questions asked. Any family who needs

assistance is welcome to participate.

Volunteers and Donations

The event has secured enough volunteers, so distribution should proceed quickly.

Donations are welcome. While all items have already been sorted, the team can bring

additional bags if more donations are received.
