CALL TO ORDER

                President Dennis Burtness called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Present were President Burtness, David Olsen, Beth Schmidt, Nick Howard, Nikki Tuffree, Terry Gerber, and Terry Morris.  Also present were Chief Jeremiah Burdick, DPW Director Nick Todd, and Clerk Sherri Waege.

MINUTE APPROVAL

                Motion by Gerber, seconded by Morris to approve the October 13, 2025 Regular Board Meeting Minutes.  Motion carried.

CITIZENS WISHING TO BE HEARD

                None.

NEW BUSINESS

                Planning Commission Recommendation to Amend 320-15d(9) Detached Garages.  Morris explained that the Board of Appeals requested that the Planning Commission review the ordinances, as there are requests for detached garages with larger than the maximum 936 square footage.  President Burtness also provided sizes from other municipalities to the Planning Commission.  Motion by Gerber, seconded by Morris to accept the Planning Commission Recommendation to amend Ordinance 320-15d(9) to state:  One detached garage with a minimum of 324 square feet and a minimum dimension of 18 feet in depth by 18 feet in width.  The combined square footage of the detached garage and any other accessory building in the rear yard cannot exceed 30% of the rear yard or 1,200 square feet overall.   Detached garage must be architecturally compatible to the principal structure as determined by the Building Inspector.  Motion carried.

                Amend Ordinance 26-3 to update to the correct address.  Motion by Morris, seconded by Schmidt to amend the address for Ordinance 26-3 to the current address of 303 E. Beloit Street.  Motion carried.

                Sewer Casting Adjustment Work.  DPW Director Todd explained the bid from E&N Hughes for $1,000.00 per casting.   Motion by Olsen, seconded by Howard to approve the cost of the casting adjustments using $18,000.00 of budgeted sewer funds.  Motion carried.

                Part Time Public Works.  Motion by Morris, seconded by Gerber to hire Gary Strunz as a Part Time Public Works employee, not to exceed 1,000 hours of work per year.  Motion carried.

TREASURER REPORT

                Motion by Morris, seconded by Gerber to approve the September Treasurer Report.  Motion carried.

VOUCHERS

                Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Gerber to approve the Vouchers with a check range of 38920-38958.  Motion carried.

VILLAGE PRESIDENTS UPDATE

                President Burtness explained the following:

·          Pleased with the progress of the Rime Ridge Subdivision.

·         Business After 5 had a good turnout.   Schmidt explained that she appreciated Parkview’s participation.

·         The Explorer Squad is now ready and operational.
